White-Label Content Offering Playbook

Content delivered under a client’s name has to read as if the client wrote it, and has to survive the client’s own review. That needs a workflow where every piece is briefed, checked and traceable. This playbook sets up a white-label content service that agencies or partners can resell.

À qui il s’adresse

Agencies and studios producing content that partners resell under their own brand, or that clients publish as their own.

Avant de commencer

  • A written agreement on confidentiality, ownership and attribution with each partner.
  • A brief template that captures the end client’s voice and boundaries.
  • An editor responsible for every piece that leaves the business.
  • A delivery format each partner can use, such as files or direct publishing.

Étape 1

Plan the service

Define what partners receive and how.

  1. Define the unit of delivery: research, drafting, editing, images, formatting.
  2. Agree turnaround, revision rounds and how partners pass on end-client feedback.
  3. Decide whether you publish to end-client sites or only deliver files.
  4. Pilot the service with one partner before offering it widely.

Étape 2

Create a reviewable workflow

Make every piece briefed and checkable.

  1. Brief every piece from the template, recording the end client’s voice and restrictions.
  2. Keep a separate voice for each end client so tones never mix.
  3. Have the editor check facts, voice and formatting before delivery.
  4. Remove any trace of your own business from delivered files.

Étape 3

Deliver under the partner’s name

Hand over cleanly and keep records.

  1. Deliver in the agreed format, with a short note of sources and decisions.
  2. Log what was delivered, when, for which end client and who approved it.
  3. Agree how corrections after delivery are requested and handled.
  4. Keep confidential partner and client details out of your own marketing.

Étape 4

Measure delivery quality

Track how the service performs for partners.

  1. Track revision requests per partner and per end client.
  2. Ask partners which pieces needed the most work before they reached the client.
  3. Review the brief template after each new type of request.
  4. Raise capacity only when quality holds at the current volume.

Erreurs fréquentes

  • Mixing end clients’ voices because one brief was reused for another.
  • Publishing partner work as your own portfolio without permission.
  • No single editor accountable for what is delivered.
