Generate your first article
The shortest path from a keyword to a finished, editable draft: enter a keyword, pick a title, confirm, and open the draft.
Before you start
A workspace with at least one project — see Set up your workspace and first project.
Enough credits for an article. The current cost is listed on the pricing page, and the form shows it before you start.
Steps
Step 1: Open the article form
Choose Generate article at the top of the sidebar. The form opens on Describe the article.
Step 2: Enter a keyword
Pick the Project and type the Target keyword — the phrase you want this article to rank for. Everything else has a sensible default taken from your project, so you can leave it as it is for now.
Step 3: Choose a title
Choose Generate title options. You get five headline options at no charge; choose Show me 5 more if none fits. Select one, edit it if you like, and choose Confirm selected title.
Step 4: Confirm the generation
The Generate this article? dialog summarises the title, keyword, length, sections and cost. Choose Generate for … credits. Credits are held now and charged only if a usable draft is delivered.
Step 5: Open the draft
Progress is shown while the article is written; this usually takes a few minutes. When Your draft is ready appears, choose Open the draft. You can leave the page meanwhile — the article also appears under Articles when it is done.
What you’ll see
A complete draft — title, SEO fields, outline, body, and FAQ and takeaways sections by default — opens in the article workspace, ready to edit, export or publish.
Troubleshooting
“Not enough credits”
Your balance does not cover the article. Choose See plans to add credits, or see Credits and usage.
“Add a project first”
Articles belong to a project. Choose Create a project, fill in its profile and come back.
“This generation could not run”
Nothing is charged for a generation that fails: the held credits are refunded automatically one hour after the failure. Start the article again when you are ready — a new attempt is a new generation.
“We lost track of this generation”
The page lost contact with the job, which may still finish. Check Articles for the draft and Usage for the charge or refund before trying again.
