Choose an image style
Set the look of a project’s AI images once — photographic, illustration, flat vector and more — and override it for a single article or image when you need to.
Before you start
A project, on a plan that includes images.
Steps
Step 1: Set the project default
Open the project from Projects & integrations. In AI image style, pick one of Photographic, Editorial illustration, Flat vector, Isometric, Minimal abstract or 3D render, then choose Save default.
Until you choose, new images use the standard style, Editorial illustration.
Step 2: Override it for one article
On the article form, under Advanced settings → Image style, pick a different style. The badge changes from Project default to Override. Choose Use project default to go back.
Step 3: Override it for one image
When generating a featured image from the article’s Media panel, the Style field applies to that image only.
What you’ll see
Every new image uses, in order: the style chosen for that image, the article’s own style, the project default, then the standard style. Changing the project default affects images made from then on, including for articles that follow it.
Troubleshooting
“The saved style is no longer available”
The style saved on this project is no longer offered. Choose one of the available styles and save it.
I cannot change the project default
The panel is read-only for members. Ask a workspace owner or admin, or override the style on your own articles.
